Course Name: Certificate in Security Guard (General) & Personal Security

(As Per DGE&T/SDIS MES SEC104 +  SEC205 + Internship)

 

Entry Qualification:        8th Pass and above

 

 

 Subject Competency: After completing the course the trainee will be able to cater to security  requirements of all sectors for corporate or domestic. In Event or a conference and / or provide Security to an individual.

 

Course duration: 4 Months (5hrs. x 5days in a Week) Total Course Duration: 400 Hrs

 

Course Content

Session-I: 30 days (100 hrs)

Other Inputs as Mandatory Foundation Course of First 25 hrs of 100 hrs. hrs SOFT SKILL COURSE- SS101 (As per DGE&T/SDIS MES Module)                                                                                                    ( Total 25 hrs of Soft Skill Module)

Core Subject Coverage:

First 50 hrs. of 150 hrs. SECURITY SECTOR-SEC104 (As per DGE&T/SDIS MES Module) consisting of

Indoor Training:

1)   Duties and Responsibilities of a Personal Security Guard.

2)   Basic Imperatives of Proximate Security.

3)   Attitudinal     Shaping-up    of    a    Personal Security Guard.

4)   Acquaintance      with     different    Security Gadgets/Mechanisms.

Outdoor Training:

1)   Fundamentals    of    Security    Skills/Practices 🙁 Practical Field Demonstrations)

  1. i) Access Control/Frisking
  2. ii) Anti-sabotage Checking

 

and First 25 hrs of SECURITY SECTOR-SEC205 (As per DGE&T/SDIS MES Module)

Phase Wise Outcome Indicators Mapping:  For First 30 Days

In first 30 days a candidate from any back ground will go through strict systematic observation and will be assessed thoroughly till he/she earns required confidence level and understanding maturity to obtain the required eligibility for proceeding next semester. The above lessons will provide him/her the strategic understanding ability to recognize the change within their inner side. Moral boost will be high enough to combat with so called competitors.

5)   Sensitization  about  Threat  Potential  from different quarters in different situations.

6)   Orientation about  Pre-emptive/  Preventive Personal Security Measures.

7) Manners and Courtesies required to be observed by a Personal Security Guard.

Outdoor Training:

iii) Cordoning and Sealing

  1. iv) Surveillance
  2.  v) Body Search, Premises Search and Area Search

In this 30 days a candidate will exercise the above soft skill learning and will associates its grooming skills with core subject learning. The handling of social media tools with responsibility will be a prominent impact to observe.

8) Role   of   a   Personal   Security Guard   in Crisis/Emergency situations.

9)  Co-ordinative  role  of  a  Personal  Security Guard.

10) Understanding  the  Personal  Attributes  of the  Protectee  and  Harmonization  of  the same with Security Imperatives.

Outdoor Training:

  1. vi) Handling and Operating Basic Fire-fighting Equipment

vii) Close quarter combat Techniques.

viii) Cordoning  and  Providing  Security Cover to a Threatened Person in Crowded                                 Places.
